Although dance shoes are ideal, any dress shoe is fine. However, rubber soles, sandals and running shoes are discouraged. They just do not do well at all for dancing.

How often should schedule my private lessons?
That ís really up to you and your teacher. We just recommend that you not put too much time between lessons because you might forget what you have learned. Your lessons are valuable and are best used on new material. Once or twice a week is ideal, but it is ultimately your schedule that will have to dictate when you are able to come.

Sure. If there is special music you would like to work with, bring it. We love new music.
